This is my rough transcription of Joe Wright's
recording of this tune. He does 3 solos, of which I have tabbed
the first 2. In the 2nd solo, he uses a lot of distortion, which I have
attempted to reproduce on the clip by playing through my Pacer amp
instead of the Session 400 and adding some WAV edit jiggerypokery
after the event. It's amazing how much mileage he gets out of the
C-pedal.
Joe plays Universal, of course, which, in this case, amounts to
Extended E9th. In a few places, the 11th (G#) and 12th (E) strings are
used. If you haven't got these, you can still play most of the tune.
The backing
track is an edit of a midi
I found on the Internet (author unknown) with all the good bits (organ
etc) removed.
