This is a C6th (G on top) version of the Puccini libretto 'Nessun Dorma', which is better known to the likes of me as the theme music to the BBC's coverage of the 1990 World Cup (the Gazza finals).
I got into this accidentally while playing around with the transition from pedal 4 to 5. With a G on top, the top note stays the same as you drop down one position, giving a nice chord progression which (to my ears, anyway) matches the beginning of the Nessun Dorma verse.
